Letter from Brownlow and Doris Speer

We are so very sorry to hear of the death of [Rosemary], whom we liked very much.  She always struck us as a "profile in courage" who really provided a model of how one should comport oneself after tragedy has struck.

We always enjoyed seeing her and Peter in Cambridge.  It was heart-warning to observe the depth of their affection for each other.  We are glad that that joy was reserved for her in the latter part of her life.
